Yes but when others are pay way more it’s not a big deal to be charged for the warranty. So, the warranty has a separate charge.... Must be an optional upgrade.
The charge is actually from Yukon. It is their "Yes Limited Lifetime Warranty". It looks like the shop Bldrinker got the quote from is a stand up shop in that the price doesn't appear to be up charged. If my gear guy doesn't come in with a great price, I will probably follow Bldrinker to Inland Jeep. So, the warranty has a separate charge.... Must be an optional upgrade.

Is that lifetime warranty? What ratio?Well I got the quote from the guy I have used in the past. He was $2,385 for AAM gears and all oem parts. I am just double checking with Inland Jees before I make a decision.

I am only looking to go 4.10 because I drive 50% freeway when not towing. I hot the truck for $16,000 off invoice so I knew I had room to change gears later. It is a 2018 ram 2500 4x4. If memory serves me correct, only 1 year on parts and labor from my guy.what year and model truck? 3.42,3.73,4.10,4.44,4.56,5.13 is what aam offers
You have a 6.4? if so do not do 4:10I am only looking to go 4.10 because I drive 50% freeway when not towing. I hot the truck for $16,000 off invoice so I knew I had room to change gears later. It is a 2018 ram 2500 4x4. If memory serves me correct, only 1 year on parts and labor from my guy.
No, AAM has always been AAM.
.
I have re geared two other trucks in the past, an f150 to 4.11 and a f250 to a 4.30. My usual tow is around 7800 lbs and at most on short trips to the desert I hit a max of 9500 lbs. So far the truck runs 4th gear but at the slightest hill downshifts to 3rd. I an just hoping to hold 4th a little longer and don't want to gear to the point that I lose 2nd and 3rd due to rpm range. The truck otherwise has been amazing for the 4600 miles it has towed (mostly mountains). You have a 6.4? if so do not do 4:10
