Before i was running cheap 87 octane gas and getting 15-16mpg then I installed electric fan, 180 degree thermostat and tuner with hemifever tune with 91 octane gas and gas milage didn't change or maybe a little worse

I didn't do a very good comparison of before. Are you a Crew cab?

Mileage does drop a bit with a cooler tstat. Is the MDS turned off in your new tuning? That could very well be the cause of the mileage drop as well.

Where you looking for better mpg's? If so those are not really the mods to have. I average 15-16 mpg. I have the 170*thermostat, Vararam intake,Hemifever93 tune, clutch fan delete, active grill shutters delete, catch can, and a flowmaster 50hd series muffler.

Were about the same on mods and I do the mods for fun factor. i just try to justify the money by telling myself I'll get better gas milage.

You drop about a 1mpg with a colder thermostat.

I've lucky to get 14mpg but that's all city and I have the 5 speed.

Just justify it by beating F150 light to light

I'm still debating going back to stock thermostat. If I gain 1-2 mpg how much power will I loose? I don't have limited slip rear end and don't race so it's kinda a waste
