2011 ram 1500 5.7 Engine Noise?

PSHHHH engine noise is back stalled today again randomly at light but still no misfire no codes idles drives good probably un related i just dumped seafoam in tank. I am contacting the company that sold me the cam/lifters if they wont do anything i am just guna drive it til it blows. I have used redline oil from day 1 since i did the cam/lifters never skipped oil changes and i still get screwed lol.

just a idea how about a bad cam sensor ? someone I read had one that was off and bad causing problems

All sensors where replaced when i had the engine out doing the cam i did preventative maintenance truck would run worse and throw codes if this was the case.

Took valve covers off saw nothing really everything tight still runs good. I got no where with talking to the company I got The lifters from. So at this point I am going to just drive it when the engine decides its going to blow il just drop another engine in. I been keeping my eye out for a deal on a engine out of a wreck or something. Hell maybe il find a good deal on a whole nother truck who knows

went into the store came out fired it up and BANG lol got it to start again either its a rod or a screwed lifter its LOUD sound tin ish.

Cylinder 1 the intake rocker has lot play guess LIFTER it is hope it didnt eat the cam yet it still ran pre good.

Ripped the head off here is the verdict. ENGINETECH Lifters From Rock Auto I put maybe 15k on cam and lifters always used expensive redline oil nothing else always changed every 4k miles. AND look what i found..... IT destroyed the cam lobe and everything Bet your ass I will be contacting the company again. I have never seen one come apart like this before.

Yep I am going to have to pull engine it i guess..

Can anyone recommend a different brand for lifters? if I decide to rebuild this no way do I wanna use the same brand unless they refund me for both cam and lifters or send me replacements or something idk.. I left the company a message before.

The needle bearings and the other half on the roller, and cam lobe being chomped on I would now do a uoa and sent it to Blackstone, seeing this is the second catastrophic failure for this engine.

Dont know much about them lol if i use hellcat lifters what other modifications do i need to make? or can it run stock?. I am open to all suggestions i decided to rebuild i need lifters and cam suggestions. My truck has mds but its tuned off at the moment I will make a new thread later for the rebuild.

Also the company i got the parts from contacted me today they possibly will do something i doubt it but waiting to hear back again.

Check But I think you replace the stock ones with the Hellcat lifters. They are beefier. and not prone to failing.
