Hey all currently looking into either lifting or leveling my 2013 1500 soon. I'm looking to get some recommendations first. My truck being a RWD, I'm having a hard time finding anything that is specifically for it all the kits I've seen say AWD so I'm a bit confused. anytime I go on any site, as soon as I choose RWD all the kits disappear. That being said, if I go the route of leveling (I have a 2.5in rake), what's my best choice that's going to ride nice and not mess up any of the other components. Thanks

Bilstien 5100s seem to be a favorite but I have a 3" motofab with a 2" in the back. I wanted it to like an actual lift so I still have rake. Front fender is about 40 1/4 back is 42 1/4. I personally love how my truck looks.

The Bilstiens won't work for 2wd.......you will need either leveling springs ,spring spacers or lift spindals.....

maybe search the forum for lifted 2wd....

Maxtrac suspension for RWD

I’m looking at that one, about to pull the trigger on the one with coils and Fox shocks but was told that the UCA would contact the coil bucket when going over a speed bump. Anybody have any experience with this kit?

I have their 4.5/3" spindle up front, no issues.

I want to ask around before committing to it. That’s the kit I really want to go with but not if going to have any type of fitment issues. I was told it was due to the longer shocks, upgrading the UCA with theirs and using their shocks would “alleviate” the problem but wouldn’t resolve it.

I think you might have read wrong info......on 2wd you just use a lift spindal that relocates the tire down 4" .....all other suspension parts stay in stock location

This is a great kit.....never heard any problems with it...

OK sorry if I read wrong...... Im only talking about the 4.5 spindal lift

I just don’t understand how this would be the case. I wouldn’t be doing much off-road driving with my truck but for people who do, I’d imagine would have issues with this kit if that were the case. I’ve heard Nothing but great things about Maxtrac

agree with @co-pilot

Ive had two trucks with their 4.5/3" kit, both have zero issues, my old truck travels the US now all the time.

The spindle raises and keeps everything else in alignment. The rear has springs and new shocks, I upgraded later to the Fox rear shocks.

Well, settled on the 4.5”/3” Maxtrac lift! Super happy how it turned out. Installed in about a day, aligned the next morning. Now for wheels and tires. What have you guys that have this setup gone with?

I hate the Moto Metal on my silver 2015, they are black lip with darker gray center, would look killer on there.

Front windows and wind shield tinted today. 20% to match the rear and 50% on the windshield. Loving the look of the XD Grenade in gloss black with 0 offset and the Fuel Rebel in black with +1 offset.
