My truck is a 2015 crew cab. I was in the engine bay working and at the edge of the hood [underneath] the paint is cracked. I don't think that's normal? Is there any warranty on paint? Had the truck 3 years and its washed and cleaned regularly. I just dont want a bigger issue down the road w peel and everything

I think the only warranty you get on that type of stuff is for rust through. Being that its under the hood I would just touch it up and let it ride. You got any pics?

Yes a photo would be helpful.... but are you sure the paint is cracked or are you seeing the panel seam and some light edges of the paint?

Sorry been busy. Its cracked. I can apply light pressure and you see the separation in the two plains. Its minor but I am so for lesser words **** retentive about stuff like that

So it is perfectly ok to be picky about your investment and keeping it nice is a good quality to have for sure.
The best suggestion, short of taking it to a body shop, would be to touch it up with a good bottle of enamel for you truck. Now some colors will touch up and look fine for under the hood or jamb, some colors just need to be sprayed. Depending on your level of **** retentiveness will determine what direction you will go ..... or whether or not money is a concern, touch up will set you back 12 dollars and 30 minutes of your time .... body shop will be $100 to $200 and one day with your truck.
