2017 Ordering Window?

I have a buddy looking to spec out a 2017 1500. Any idea when the ordering window will open for 2017s?

Order now. The information is not yet available to spec out on line till around the middle of September. I saw on another site where there is a 2017 on the dealers lot that was ordered by a customer.

right now I'm staying in my rv in warren a few blocks from ram assembly am seeing lots of new 1500s going down the road > usually 4 -6 in a row mostly 5.7s lots of rebels a few limited and tons of long horns and express both 4x4 and 2wd ,no exciting NEW colors although did see a Durango in multi colored "mule" dress

Some dealers have 2017s on the way, and you can view the window stickers online. There are obvious price increases on many packages and options, and a base bump as well. Won't affect me, I snagged a 2016 Laramie off the lot but haven't taken delivery yet.
