Just got my 2019 1500 Classic Quad Cab and I’m having difficulties deciding what running boards/steps to put on. Boards seem more easily maneuverable but steps, to me, look nicer.. I think. Anyone have suggestions?

I really like my Amp retractable steps, prefer the look with them tucked up, but you do lose the ding protection in parking lots you get with regular steps.

I used NFab step bars on three of my Rams. They are well made and good looking. Here are those three trucks with the NFab units installed:

The retractables going from $1600 and up and up, unless you get a really cheap pair, I think Rough Country sells cheaper. Than U gotta get installed and maybe flashed to BCM, that I am not sure of.,

So expense and retractable to either just running steps or boards, which are like 50% the price, comes down to Money and preference. What I have on my 2019 5th Gen, again all comes down to $$$ and preference.

Just FYI and to show you and you can make an informed decision.
