Am not gonna lie. Miss the cold already. The bugs are relentless.

Glad to be back out with nature.20220423_102433_HDR.jpg A few more people in the campground...but some have already left.

But they are still pretty far away and no one is up on the hill near us. Love the little out of the way campgrounds with nothing but nature for entertainment. Weeds the problem people out for sure.20220423_103200.jpg

Man that's beautiful 392. Very nice. Is yours an electric site?

Yeah, conditions like that and lack of other people around would keep me in the camping game longer, that's for sure. Good stuff man

Yes 30 amp electric. There are some 50 amp electric. All RV sites have electric. There are 2 campground loop tent sites and 2 hike in tent sites...they have electric too.

There are a couple water dragons(my son's description) throughout and a dump station. A clean shower house with flush toilets and a dish washing station. A playground and all the hiking a person could handle.

I haul a horse trailer and my car trailer often. The only prep I do is make sure the gas tank is full!

Excellent, sounds like a great spot. I think part of the attraction where I go, above and beyond living in a higher population area to begin with is there are about full hookup sites which are booked nearly continuously all season long. It's part of the reason I'd like to move further west in PA, especially now that my wife and I can work remote from home. I'm originally from a different part of the state and moved here because she is from here..and I'm not a huge fan of it.

For some unknown reason to me we have lots of marylanders and (I suspect mainly baltimorins from what I see) in particular that are moving here. I don't get it personally and don't see what the attraction is..,but there coming by the truckload and paying nearly 300k for new little crapbox houses on .19 acre lots...but to each their own.

Our first trip of the year has started. I'm at the campground, waiting for my wife to get here. I'm all set up on the outside and some on the inside. I'm saving the rest for her. She likes to do that part. It's sunny and 57° and the sun is starting to go down.

The TPMS is a bit of a let down. It didn't track the pressure real well. Looks like I'll have to buy the repeater.

On a positive note my home made Levelmate worked beautifully. Details are here: https://www.ramforum.com/threads/just-made-a-levelmatepro-type-leveler-for-free.189116/#post-2654475

The only thing I had to do extra is disconnect my phone from the truck for a short time. It was causing a loss of signal from phone to phone and that annoying bug of not being able to disconnect from a call even though there was no call.

Tomorrow is going to be fun. I get to sit back and watch everyone pull in and hook up. That's always good for a laugh or two. That's about it for now.

Here's a picture of our neighbors.

Wow - you guys make me itchy....it's 45 degrees here with howling wind, clouds and humid. Perfect 'camping' weather.

Just had to cancel our first camping trip of the year, very disappointed. But have another lined up for July and hope to get one in before then. So share your trips so those of us stuck home can dream!

I just reserved a spot at Western Village RV Park for All Chrysler Nationals car show in Carlisle PA. That's in the middle of July. I'll probably start a thread for that soon to catch the attention of the guys in the other forums.

I was going to wait to see if I could get off of work but they only had 3 RV sites left so I had to jump on it. I should be able to take off. If not, I'll see if I can switch my reservation to the weekend of All Truck Nationals. I'd rather go to ACN and see all the old school Mopar's.

We did not camp this weekend. We had some early obligations today and some afternoon obligations tomorrow.

But, I did go scout some new sites.

Tuscarora State Forest in PA.

Just gonna dump some photos...since most are not from this area or into this type of camping.

But I know we all love seeing natural beauty.

Any questions ask...i will gladly explain or add more pics.20220430_185844_HDR.jpg20220430_184251.jpg20220430_183830.jpg20220430_183737.jpg20220430_172409.jpg20220430_171141_HDR.jpg20220430_170929_HDR.jpg20220430_143002.jpg20220430_142855.jpg20220430_131103.jpg
