I have a 2021 with 51 k miles on it, close to 20 k miles towing a 7000 lb TT. Never an issue, don’t think another 3 k would change much. Been all over the country never seems to break a sweat so to speak.
Good luck!

Cummins has not had a good engine since the introduction of DEF. As long as your working it and not sitting around idling you should be OK

The 6.7 was pretty much the same from 2007-'18, not many issues with the engine itself. The emissions system has had its ups and downs, if I remember correctly the first few years of DEF there was issues with the SCR itself and that was recalled/replaced. It wasn't till the 2019 Cummins (new CGI block) you started hearing about engine failures.

What “engine failures” are you hearing/posting about?

I have had my ‘24 Ram 2500 w/6.7 CTD six months only, and it Tows beautifully and I’m having zero problems even when temps dropped to 15F. Love this engine! (and I was not previously a diesel-fan at all.)

Surprisingly read about a several of engines collapsed lifters and even one that lower rotating assembly punched a hole in the block. They were ultra low mileage engines, and probably fall way under the 1% threshold so nothing out of the ordinary for a mass produced engine.

Pre-DEF 6.7 emissions were more troublesome. It was all EGR all the time and more problems with fuel dilution. DEF allowed them to put some timing back in it, and turn up the wick some.
