I got the 2in leveling springs from rough country but I’m having issues installing it. I took everything apart but when it was time to pull the coil out the coil compressor I rented seemed to small for truck coils. It is sketchy in my opinion do I need bigger heavier duty ones or just crank the ones I rented down

I did mines without coil compressors if you jack it up at the bottom as you jack it up the coil compresses so you don’t need the compressor.

Yeah as long as you have the jack under the shock make sure everything is loose and there is tension on the spring. Slowly release the jack and the spring will slowly decompressand same way to reinstall it. I’ve done a lot of suspension work on my truck and that’s the way I have always done it and works just fine mines is also lifted 7.5 and has a 3 inch lift spring.
