Are there any high end coil packs available for the 4.7?

I've been looking at the NGK U4042, the only thing I've seen higher priced are OEM and some Delphis.

For plugs I'm looking at NGK Laser iridium (LZFR5CI-11) for the intake, and Laser Platinum (PLZFR5B13EG) for the exhaust. These look like the best NGK makes for it. Is there anything different anyone would recommend?

I don't see any NGK wires for the 4.7. I found some Walker Thundercore wires that seem to be a higher end. Or am I better off going with OEM?

Thanks for any recommendations.

Stick with OEM. Unless there's something wrong with your original coils,i wouldn't worry about changing them, plugs yes,but the stock coil packs are fairly reliable, just be careful removing them,as they have a tendenancy of tearing the plug boot if you're a bit rough with them

I'm at 255,000 miles. Have had a substantial loss of power for a while, changed them around 200,000 based on a recommendation from someone.. I used mid grade coil packs from AutoZone and have had a couple show misfires and replaced under warranty. I want to be able to rule out the ignition system so want to go back to the best I can get as long as the price isn't crazy.

I've had compression checked. Complete exhaust has been replaced including cat.

The mechanic that did the compression test didn't like the plugs I used either. So wondering if I can get at least somewhat of a consensus on best plugs to use.

Stick with the factory plugs, and if you're having coil issues,i'd swap back to factory coils
