4.7 l bucking

so my 4.7 l 2wd ram decided to hang rpms up very slightly and then bucked and stalled im not quite sure what this problem could be if anybody could help itd be greatly appreciated this all happened when motor was not warmed up it didnt do it when warmed up it happened a few times too

hmm, the time my 05 4.7 did that, the egr valve was bad. For starters, I'd check to see if the truck is throwing any codes.

When's the last time you did a basic tune up on it? Might want to check out on here about Sea Foam. It does a heck of a job as far as cleaning out the fuel system.

any codes or check engine lights come on mine did it because i had a lose hose on my EVAP

yeah i scanned that and my trans too and no luck so i guess ill just wait for somethin to throw a code

Mine did the same thing. Had injectors cleaned and problem went away
