What does it take to get to 400rwhp na? Stock bore. I'm thinking LT's, vararam, ported TB, tune, full exhaust. Would that get me there 8speed 4x4 CC.
It'll take a cam and ported heads/intake to pull 400NA rwhp from a Hemi.Your combo listed will get you to maybe 360 at the tire. My 8 speed with 3.21's and 29" tires dyno'd 355hp and 375 lb-ft with your same basic mods. With a 75 shot it went to 435hp and 455 lb-ft.
Have you tracked it? What's it run?

Is your truck a CC or 4x4? That is a great 1/4 time. Maybe I should have named this what does it take to hit 12s full weight lol. That is kind of the goal I just figured it would take 400rwhpRuns 12.21's at 3500ft DA.The 8 speeds are usually 320/330 hp at the tires.Bolt-ons and a tune won't give you a 80+ rwhp gain,it'll take a cam and head work to get to 400 at the tires NA.
Wildone, what’s your uncorrected time for curiosity sake?

12.21 @ 109 is uncorrected Dan.It still holds the fastest time slip for a 4th Gen in Canada "yet",but there should be some quicker trucks coming on board this year, lol. If Kurtis/Charonblks new build works out,he should be the one to beat.Young Josh out of your town with his Eddy blown 4X4 has gone high 12.5's over at the Hat.On paper you should be one of the quicker trucks if not the quickest around,if we ever get you drug out a track,hint/hint,lol.Couple of the Saskatoon guys are upping their nitrous shots to 150+ in the hopes of taking my truck out, lol.Mines pretty conservative as far as builds go,a bolt-on truck with one of Jay's 1.5HL cams and a small 75 shot, but it seems to work good for what it is.
Rick
Ah, I thought I saw you say before that was a corrected time. Good stuff.
I don’t know if my truck would beat a 12.2 though. Not sure if the extra 70whp would make up the weight difference of a crew cab to reg cab.
Depending on who's DA correction factor I use,it corrects into either the high 11.70's or low 11.80's. My buddy Lawrence has had his bolt-on Scatpack 6.4 Bee on the same dyno as your truck, and he's dyno'd 505 hp and 500lb-ft,and my truck usually has his Bee covered by almost 2/10ths,which ****** him off to no end,my dyno numbers are a lot less then his,and the truck out weighes his Bee by over 600lbs.The best one was when we got a speed on green ticket leaving the lights in Edmonton, the first photo shows the truck with a fender on his Bee,the second one shows the truck leading by almost a full length, and they sent him the ticket, lol.Being as it was a good friend,i split him on the ticket.I tried to get the ticket out of him,but the bugger won't give it up,lol. There's a couple guys that call my truck a Unicorn,as it shouldn't run like it does, lol.
