5.0 to 8.4 - Hvac issue

I did the upgrade as suggested in another thread. I tried purchasing the hvac module but the part that was shipped was the one that superseded it: 68268186AA. Not sure if that's the issue but everything works with the upgrade except I cannot change the temperature nor the air flow direction.

Did you build your own conversion harness ?

You have a 2014 , most likely the 7 speed blower .
Did you build or purchase the correct harness ?

No, I bought from the harness connection, the 7 speed blower one.
