What's up guys I have a 2012 5.7 and have already added a few things such as headers, Diablo T2 tuner, and a 90mm TB. My questions is what else would you guys recommend as far as adding performance? I've heard about putting the 6.4 intake on it. But not sure what all else I would need along with it. Wanna put a different cam in it also so looking for advice on what you guys think. Thanks.

Get a custom tune for that Diablo if you don't already have one. A custom tune tailored to all your mods would make a huge difference. Hemifever and Greene Racing are the two obvious favorites. Better gears would be my next choice, which one would mostly depend on what size tire you were running.

I gotcha. Yeah I've got it tuned up already and it's awesome butI haven't done anything with my gears yet.

"Tuned up" as in custom tune, or canned tunes from diablo sport? Big difference. Exhaust? CAI? Catch can?

Headers and gears would be a big improvement.

What gears do you have now and what size tires do you run?

Tranny is just the stock 6 speed I just bought the truck and am building it up as i go. I have already installed headers,I have a diablo Trinity tuner and am running Greene racing tune right now, just ordered 90mm TB, Ive installed CAI as well. So I'm just wondering what's the best direction from here.
Also what gears would you recommend? Like I said I'm looking for advice because I'm just building it as I go. So I'm looking for any advice.

Is it your daily driver or is it for mostly track use?

Kind of a mixture of both. I got another truck I use to drive to work, but I'm addicted to driving the one I'm talking about now. So I guess I'd like for it to to be sort of half For track use and half for daily driving.

I recommend 4:56 gears if your ram is a 2009 or 2010. But you said you have the 6 speed so your front diff would need to be changed. Expensive, but gears are the absolute best mod for what you have.

Most of these trucks are 4WD, so I assume that what you have.

If you have a 3.92 final drive, since you have that contrary '12, I'd leave the 3.92s.

If you have the 3.55, it's worth the trouble to regear.

I love my 4.10s. But I agree with InVet, 4.56 would be even more fun. If you have a 2WD, I'd definitely re-gear.

Stockish size tires, 4.10 is a real good all around ratio. 4.10s are quick and fun but lot really “low” at all. My engine spins 1800 rpm at 70 mph, which is just right as far as I’m concerned. At 55, the rpm is actually the same as it was with 3.55s because with 3.55s the truck didn’t shift into 6th. @ 55, my engine is just spinning 1600. 4.10s are what these things should have come from the factory with. But they got off track trying to make a gas saver out of a big truck.

You’ll be real happy with 4.10s if you have 3.55s now.

Yeah I have 3.55s right now. I have heard people recommend 4.56s gears but with me driving like I do. I don't think they would be good for my kind of driving.

Ez, call Matt at Moe's. He can sell you whatever you need to do it he gear swap. I would never attempt that myself. I took my parts to a shop. Some shops will let you do that. Others want to sell everything.

I'd go ahead and put an OEM Limited Slip in while you're at it. The you'll like your truck even more once you have 4.10s and an LSD.

I'll give them a call and get both an LSD and go ahead and get the gears while I'm talking to them
