7" EVIC

Ok I did a search and read LOTS of posts but never came up with the answer . I have a 2016 Bighorn 2500 6.7 diesel had the small screen and I bought a 7" cluster with the assumption (I know what that gets ya) that the guy I was talking to when I gave all my info that it would be correct. Turns out what showed up is for a gasser. The question is other than no DEF gauge and tach redline would obviously be different, will this function as I want and like normal? thanks

Personally i would not use a gas EVIC in a diesel unless the truck is deleted and does not need the DEF gauge. There is the option of using an ECOdiesel EVIC which is what I went with. The redline on the tach is higher but not really noticeable. You should be able to sell the gas one fairly easily.
