It shouldn't. I have a hd50 with single exhaust and resonator and no drone. The 70 is supposed to be a little quieter and when mine goes, it's 8 year old now, I will try a 70 series a I like it a little quieter. Both are really good mufflers. I live in NJ where they use a lot of road salt in winter and after 8 years muffler is still not rusted.
