They also list a 3.6L Diesel as an engine, there isn't a 3.6L diesel...D'oh. I think they're anticipating people who are running tuned vehicles and drag racing their vehicles.
Last mileage update I've heard about on VernDiesel's truck is over 670,000 miles which half of those are towing travel trailers across the country. He changes the fluid every 100K in his 8HP70 with Valvoline Maxlife fluid.

I plan on around 60-70k on mine. I tow heavy a few times a year and have a heavy foot.
Figure alot sooner than FCA suggest. :)

ZF recommends between 80,000 to 120,000 kilometers (50,000 to roughly 70,000 miles) or 8 years. These guys are the first I've seen say 30,000 miles or 36 month's.

I mean Iam sure it wont hurt anything and if you tow heavy alot or race it alot I would guess that to be a far better interval.

I'm guessing that's a misprint on the 3.6 Diesal, somebody probably got the 3.6 gas motor mixed up with the 3.0L Diesal. I'd hazard a guess the office staff is the one who does the online literature, and it'd be easy enough for somebody who's in an office to get the 2 engines mixed up if they're not familiar with FCA's engines.

Ouch, at 30k I'd need to have a small savings account set aside to pay for the ZF oil which is as expensive as a good bottle of scotch.

Funny how that works, people only see that these guys have an economic interest in saying three years as they sell the part, but the same economic interest is on fca's side pimping a lifetime fluid change. Now between all of the economic interests, seams like ZF's recommendation is the most reasonable.
