Well I just wired in my 10w 4ohm resistors...and VOILA!!! my 3.5" Kicker CS speakers in the dash are back in line and sounding MUCH better!!!

Has anyone of you whom have spliced in these resistors actually observed the heat these create after a decent period of use?

I’m fixing to pull the trigger on a set of 4ohm 10W ceramic.

These will be installed in both dash corners on tues.

I went to Advanced Auto and bought the $14 trim tool kit....red plastic tools that won't mar up your plastic pieces. That's what I did.
