Like I've been telling you all along bro I think the problem is in the exhaust somewhere.....just bring the sensor over to my house and I'll check it out for you.

i agree the problem is with the exhaust. i just wanted to check the rods to make sure and rule that completely out...

Yeah I agree it was wise to check them. You have list of potential problems and now you're checking them off the list!

just got off the phone with nick.

he got a new o2 sensor from sam and the problem still exists.

so far we've eliminated push rod, and o2 sensor. im also still very confident we can eliminate timing chain.

nick is going to get some short universal exhaust pipe to hook up to the headers in an effort to eliminate the possibility of the o2 sensing too much oxygen because its so close to the tip of the headers. he'll also be checking the rest of the fuses.

what are your thoughts guys? whats next?

Any lines not reconnected causing a massive vac leak?

There are two vacuum lines right behind the throttle body. How about all the lines that are right next to the drivers side header, how close are they to the header itself? If it were me the next thing I would do is finish the exhaust. Drive it to the muffler shop as best as you can to rule that out.

If the vac lines behind the TB are not split or damaged then that elems most of the stuff in the engine bay motor related. The new battery being in I would do a hard dump on the PCM and try reloading the tune and see where that could lead ya. With the wrench shorting out the wires it coulda back fed into the PCM. Do yall know what wires were damaged?

i never disconnected the throttle body. never touched the tubes back there (which is why i didnt mention them).

who knows what got damaged with the short. just cause stuff isnt burnt doesnt mean its not damaged.
