I've seen it on ebay. I'm not sure anybody has one on here.

It's the hood I want if I was going to get one though. Looks awesome.

I've have the AMP Ram air hood for almost 2 years. Haven't had an issue from day one. Shocks have held it up without fail as well. Perfect paint match from them. Saw a pic of JJ's from Retro. Had to have it. All oem trucks should have it standard equipment.

Looks aggressive but I don't see how it can be functional ram air considering the filter box is on the passenger side. Unless you did a vararam intake maybe, but still the whole nose of the truck is so bulbous its just going to push air over the hood, imo.

Maybe the underside of the hood has duct work.

I have the APM Ram air hood for over 2 years. No issues and pewrfect fit. No adjustments to make it fit. I had mine painted locally. I love the look of mine.

Yep, perfect fit. I didn't even have to adjust it for body lines. Just set the hinge bolts in their original spots. The only thing I did do later was make a little bigger box for a S&B filter R1167. Had Leg maker make me a couple of carbon fiber intake tubes (4"). 1 without a spot for crankcase, and one with for different set ups.

The whole works don't work and how well is always dependant on a completely sealed system off the top. As of now I know of no one who has figured out to seal the hood to the intake. That being said the whole inside of the hood acts like a low pressure zone. If any air does flow in at velocity it is slowed there. When you slow fast moving air you increase static pressure. The problem is at the hood/filter for real ram air. At any rate, it looks mean in people's rear mirror and looks sometimes is performance.

Considering I live on an Island, it was very expensive for me even to get it here. Haven't regretted my cost and with the sand blasting my truck takes it's been very durable. Unlike the other hood, don't have to worry about a dune growing in my engine bay.

Lol they are actually like 20 minutes away from me. I'll have to email them to see if they have a hood in stock

Look at the pictures on the bottom of the hood... It's ducted over to the factory intake.

Just installed amerihood

Definitely slight fitment issues. Passenger rear corner of hood needed shaved 1/4" or so. And both front corners were very high. Had to raise fenders. Overall looks great. Feels sturdy.
