You might have to contact the Dev for an activation code since you’re going backwards in versions.

I believe that the 2018 2500 harness works on the 2019 classics and with trimming of one of the connectors works on the 2019s. I'm pretty sure @DeereGuy @M2Mods is or has made harnesses for the 2019s. The classics if I remember right have the same programming as the 2017+. 2019s I think a few people have tested and activated a few things with alphaobd.

Yeah it could have the correct pins for the BCM connection but there could be one pin out of place for the EVIC that’s cause it not to write to the evic.

The funny thing is each of these connections only uses 2 pins out of 16 (I think) that are in the connector.

The good adapters (like the OBD MX) can switch between the 2 sets of pins necessary to connect to different CAN modules....the cheap ones require wiring adapters to go between the OBD adapter and the data link socket.

If you add up the cost of one or two adapters and a cheap OBD adapter, you are pretty close to buying an OBD MX anyway.

The 2018 2500 harness works for 1500 5th gen, don’t thing it works for 5th gen 2500. Though the security harness works on a 5th gen use Alfa at your own risk as it hasn’t been tested much in them.
If it’s a classic then treat it as a 2018

Has anyone had this error while trying to connect to Google Drive? I can verify through my Google Drive that AlfaOBD has permission and is connected to my account but it won't let me save anything saying that login is required.

I'm having the same problem today. I'm using OBDLink MX latest firmware on everything. I was able to set the mileage but hours keeps telling me procedure failed. Tried over 10x.

Mine said failed to. I just turn the key off, let the truck rest for five minutes and it worked.

I followed your video exactly but mine never corrects or changes just says failed and all show the same. I also lost the option to take the decimal off my odometer showing does anyone know how to get it back?

It may be on here but can't find it!!! Used my windows alfaobd today (first time in months) to program some new headlight features and noticed that it was not keeping a Log of my changes as hit has always worked in the past!! Alfa auto updated before I started just wondering if this is a new issue!! Thanks edit: got it fixed!!

Just used the previous version of the app and still the same. Says procedure failed just like yours but when I go back after 5 minutes the hours still aren't corrected....2013 2500 with a 2013 cluster if that helps.

Hey guys.... Anybody else have trouble with a 2013 evic? I know they are slightly different then 2014 and up.
