Have read some conflicting information. Need to enable power folding mirrors on a 2023 1500 classic warlock. Going with an OBDLink MX+ and would prefer to use AlfaOBD and although their support page seems to indicate Alfa will work with a Windows 10 PC, I just wanted to make sure before I commit.

Anyone here using Alfa and MX+ with a Windows 10 laptop?

Thanks.
That's the setup I use and it works like a dream.

If you have an Android application you should be able to check for updates under your telephones Google Play Store update section

I finally got alfaobd working on my windows 11 laptop. Version 2.4.0.0. I can not find where to disable fog lamp dropout. Anyone have any ideas?

EDIT: Never mind I figured it out.

As long as you can connect your laptop to the OBDLink and there is a Windows program for Alfa, you can connect. If you've got an Android type phone, I know it's just easier to use the app on that.

how lonbg does it take for Alfaobd to reply if you send them your logs? I sent them my log yesterday with the problem I am having and still have not heard anything. I paid for the full app just so I could do this.

I sent them a question and had a reply within 4 hours. Your milage may change since you are on the other side of the pond and a big time difference.

I came across a configuration setting listed for battery type- Battery ID 1-15. Mine was already set as Battery ID-4. My assumption is that this is to set battery type and size. Has anyone figured out What the ID numbers correlate too. I‘ve search the internet and several forums but to no avail. Thanks.IMG_2837.jpeg

Was wondering the same thing. I came across that and didn't know which ID correlated as well. I changed to an AGM battery about a year ago and have had zero issues, so not sure if changing that has any real effect.

Same scenario but last month or so. It would be nice to know what each ID is.

I did the same. I posted this question in three forum. If I find out anything elsewhere I’ll be sure to share it back here as well. I do have an Autel MaxiCOM MK808S-TS at has some hot key functions and battery settings could be one, but I don’t know as of the writing.

Yeah, I posted the same thing a month or 2 ago and have nada for answers. Someone in the Mopar engineering knows what the "types" refer to since they are there, but an answer will be like a unicorn.

There is some other info related to charging in that header, too. It will all work hand in hand:
Battery:
IBS Activate MWU: No
Battery Type: Battery ID 4
IBS Quiescence Current Limit (‐250‐0 mA): ‐250.000 mA
IBS Minimum Voltage Limit (0‐25.4 V): 5.000 V
IBS Minimal Charge Limit (0‐125 Ah): 10.000 Ah
IBS Standby Time (0‐7620): 7620.000 sec
IBS Minimum Charge Limit (0‐2500mA): 600.000 mA

I did write to Alexey at AlfaOBD and although he is very responsive, he doesn’t have this information either.

I would think in this day and age of bluetooth this and bluetooth that, that it would be entirely feasible to have batteries communicate with the vehicle. The lithium batts in my boat have bluetooth built in so it's possible to monitor their current status and charge level using my phone.

I dunno how much that feature would add to the cost of the battery though.

That's adding probably $100 to the cost of a battery.

Hi guys I found this page on the multiecuscan supported vechicle page that shoes the wiring to make your own colored adapters.

Scrolling to the bottom of the page.

The only thing I don't get is there is a picture of the two connector ends showing the pinout are reversed. For example the connector labeled female reads from top left pin 1. But on the schematic the pinout reads from top right pin 1.
Looks like schematic is looking from the back of the connector?
Just want to confirm before wiring this up and it being wrong and damaging my car

Ummmm... The one without he exposed pins plugs into the one with the expose pins.
In your mind, flip the non exposed pins one over and the 1 and 9 pins do line up now. That pic is correct.
