That's the setup I use and it works like a dream.Have read some conflicting information. Need to enable power folding mirrors on a 2023 1500 classic warlock. Going with an OBDLink MX+ and would prefer to use AlfaOBD and although their support page seems to indicate Alfa will work with a Windows 10 PC, I just wanted to make sure before I commit.
Anyone here using Alfa and MX+ with a Windows 10 laptop?
Thanks.
As long as you can connect your laptop to the OBDLink and there is a Windows program for Alfa, you can connect. If you've got an Android type phone, I know it's just easier to use the app on that.Have read some conflicting information. Need to enable power folding mirrors on a 2023 1500 classic warlock. Was wondering the same thing. I came across that and didn't know which ID correlated as well. I changed to an AGM battery about a year ago and have had zero issues, so not sure if changing that has any real effect.I came across a configuration setting listed for battery type- Battery ID 1-15. Mine was already set as Battery ID-4. My assumption is that this is to set battery type and size. Has anyone figured out What the ID numbers correlate too. I‘ve search the internet and several forums but to no avail. Thanks.View attachment 532547

You guys might want to email theguy that wrote the code for it and sells the.program, Alexiy. He is very good at responding.Same scenario but last month or so. It would be nice to know what each ID is.
I did the same. I posted this question in three forum. If I find out anything elsewhere I’ll be sure to share it back here as well. I do have an Autel MaxiCOM MK808S-TS at has some hot key functions and battery settings could be one, but I don’t know as of the writing. Was wondering the same thing. I emailed him as well and he said he didn't have that information.I did write to Alexey at AlfaOBD and although he is very responsive, he doesn’t have this information either.
That's adding probably $100 to the cost of a battery.I would think in this day and age of bluetooth this and bluetooth that, that it would be entirely feasible to have batteries communicate with the vehicle. The lithium batts in my boat have bluetooth built in so it's possible to monitor their current status and charge level using my phone.
I dunno how much that feature would add to the cost of the battery though.
