I don't think he was trying to be an *******. We often reference people to the first post when they ask about adding codes that have been done several times. Ghost-Ram keeps it updated and all the questions you asked are answered there. It's easier and usually more helpful if you find them in that section before you start. Maybe you missed them when you looked at post one. It's all listed under known working codes.

I apologize for earlier comment. Had a bad day...
Ok, DRL is now working.
I tried to fix gas tank. It took the 121l. It took the 5% empty. Didn't take the 98% full. Will only take 91% on 32g tank. Help?

It might take the night to have the changes take effect. I waited more than 20 minutes for DRL's and the fog light drop out to work. And the LED turn/park lights too. It took a day or better for the DRL to show in the settings in the Lights on the 8.4's screen.

Bought AlphaOBD yesterday, ordered OBDlink MX+ yesterday on amazon (sold by scantool) got to check out and choosing shipping..... $7.?? For standard shipping (almost a week delivery) or $9.?? For next day...... went with the next day!!!
Arrived today and went to work on it.

Global down
LED on almost everything... front turn, front park, rear turn, rear park, reverse, CHMSL, license plate.
Will probably do DRL tomorrow. Undecided about doing it. I have RA2 radio. If I can figure out where I found someone was able to put the option of toggling it on and off in the radio, I will do it.

Need to find out what options I need to check for HID headlights.

This tool is awesome! I have read every post in here since it started. Finally bit the bullet on it.

Rolling the front 2 windows down in the second press and hold of unlock button.

Unlock, unlock and hold (windows will start to roll down) continue to hold the unlock button until the windows open as far as you want or until they are fully open.

Several of us have tried to change the tank settings without success, they always seem to revert on their own.

Global UP doesn’t work. Many have tried, all have failed.
But at least down works.

Tried "radio AMP" thinking maybe it had one. Unknown, but woke up to no radio. Went back in and changed it "not enabled" lol. Now we wait. I assume it needs to sleep?
*Everything else I changed last night had to do with DRL and windows.

So there was some discussion a while back that Alfa might also be seeing the non-Alpine system's head unit amp, so by disabling it you might have turned it off, thus no radio.

I spent the morning yesterday with Rick "RicksRam" and Nathan "STecoD" working on my Ram adding a bunch of cool factory options. I do have to say these guys are off the hook when it comes to adding factory options and working with the AlfaOBD program. There is no question they know there Ram's!


In a super fast two hours they did the following:


Wired and enabled fogs lights / Thanks to Mike G. “M2 mods” for the fog extension harness.

Enabled fog lights on with high beams.

Enabled console mounted CD player.

Enabled console mounted SD card reader.

Enabled "Sport" theme in EVIC cluster.

Enabled global windows down with key fob.

Installed over head console with euro map lenses and home link.


As I will be adding more factory options soon I will continue to keep posting updates with the details on the forum. Again thank you Rick and Nathan for all the hard work you have done on my Ram, I am still figuring out how to repay you guys for all your time and hard work. It was great to meet you guys for the first time yesterday and I am looking forward to us getting together soon for the next round of upgrades to my Ram.
