When drls are set to high beams the high beams aren't on full brightness as drl, but at a reduced power.

Oh alright that's good to know. Truck was completely iced over today and I didn't really feel like dealing with all that just to even get inside it, so I stayed inside watching football instead. Tomorrow though I will probably enable the item Jimmy suggested and see how that works, and if still having the problem will switch the DRL over to the high beam to see what happens then.

Thank you again to all of you for your help.

I'm not sure that is the case when the high beams are LED, as the LED Bulbs run at a constant current (full brightness) unless their output is reduced by their controller due to heat related issues.

Output voltage is deceased to 7.4v for drl's no matter the location. So led's will only see 7.4v. Only issue that could arise is the led's will either not power on or flicker. I ran opt7 Flux core led's in my highs and had my drl's set to highs with no issues. Just weren't as bright

I used those in my low beams. I didn't have to make any changes with alphaodb. They were just plug and play without any issues. And they were reasonably priced too.

There is a setting in the alfa to enable Nav in motion but so far it has not worked when set with the tool.

I had an email conversation with the developer of AlphaOBD.

He is going to try and add the ability to program replacement rack & pinion steering into our trucks, and the ability to calibrate the airbag seat weight sensors.

I would love that, I hope it would fix the problem I have with my dog setting off the seat belt error in the passenger seat. I didn't have this problem in my '09.

Same reason i asked about it. My 100lb German shepherd rides in the passenger seat. The dash constantly wants me to buckle him in, but he dont want any part of the seat belt.

Id like to set it to ignore anything under about 110lbs.

I’ve had a heavy grocery bag set that sensor off.
Do you have a single cab? I have a crew cab and my dogs prefer the extra room and comfort of the back seat.

I have a quad cab. My dog likes to sit in the passenger seat so he can see all around.

Does anyone know if the SRT splash screen would interfere with a software update for my 8.4 Uconnect?

I doubt it.

Just went through the latest OTA uconnect update and it destroyed my nav.

Had to manually download the latest update revision (18.45.01) and install it via USB stick, to get my nav back.

What's wrong with yours?

18.45.01 was released to fix 18.43.01 (ota), which caused all kinds of issues.
