Hi @ all,
is there a way to test the AGS Active Grill Shutters in my 2014 RAM 1500?
I think they are defect an d want to run a test with AlfaOBD is possible.

Hello. I am new to the thread. I have a 2015 ram 2500 6.7L Tradesman. Last night was my first night using alphaOdb. I must say I’m impressed. I was able to disable my seat belt chime, fix my bulb out indicators warning (which fixed my issue of my aftermarket Morimoto xb led headlights turning off while I was driving), I enabled drl with my led parking lights and turned on global down to get the windows rolling down with the remote. I also tried to activate the factory alarm. But it only turned on the red light in my 3” evic. Anyone know if I missed something. I used big daddy’s house for the steps.
Lin & misc - vta system present
Select vta
And it didn’t work for me.

Welcome to the forum! I just got done doing that on my tradesman 2014, followed the same video, and everything works, try disabling it, wait five mins and enable it again. Also if you let the truck sleep for a little maybe that will do it, sometimes it takes a little for these things to set..

I just installed hikari led fog lights, 9006 size and they won’t come on at all.

2016 big horn. Vertical, halogen fogs came stock.

I have alpha obd and changed the fog light dropout to “NO” and selected “YES” to LED fog lights present. I have also selected “YES” to enable HID.

Is there another change I need to make?

That did it but man have I got some tuning to do before running these things...

1500ram12 is right. Luckily the Hikaris are clockable and the foglights easily accessible. Just grab the fan housing on the back of the bulb and spin it until the power cord wire is at the 6 o'clock position (which should face the LEDs to 3 and 9 o'clock)...

Thanks, I’ll give it a shot. I’m waiting on an adjustment screw; I found one missing the other day and my fog lights were lighting up the tree tops.

Can someone help me figure out the backup camera so I can view anytime. I made all the changes listed but do not know where to find it on the uconnect?

A long toggle anchor bolt will do the trick. The factory adjustment nuts seem to shake off...

On the 5.0 if you hit the + more button it appears there. I could have swore that when I first had my truck I was able to use it but now does nothing. I haven't tried doing anything with alfaobd yet

In car configuration change, set radio-trailer hitch camera to yes.
