Oops I ment to ask you the tyc vs rex ? Is it worth the cost for tyc. I watched a video where the guy squeezed the front lensevand the back housing together at a narrow point with oem, tyc , and the $ 300.00 unnamed one. And I would not want those 300.00 pair for sure

I've owned tyc replica oem projectors. The output/cut-off was nice but were barely sealed. If you went tyc I'd pop them in the oven reseal them or atleast get a good quality sealant like to seal around the housing/lense.

I can only speak for the 2019 style of alpharex headlights. But think it's safe to say that their oem projector version would be just as good. Remember that just like with led's and Hid's these can be subjective. To myself and others the build quality and output is great for the price. But to you could be cheap China crap. One of the nice things about alpharex is, if you buy their headlights from a 3rd party seller through Amazon or ebay they'll still will honor warranty or replace a part or housing if you directly contact them

Working on a solution with tech support. I've got mine now so it'll only throw that code when the light switch is set to the marker light setting. I do not have DRLs set on my 16. And I do not have the drl box installed either.

I would like to know also, I also have a 16. I’m running alpharex pro g2’s. I’ve been through every setting in alfaobd a million times and no matter what I do I still get a park light out error on my evic. I can use my park lights/headlights/fog lights with zero issues. I can use my turn signals with zero issues. BUT if I have my park lights/headlights and park lights on and try and use my turn signals PARKING LIGHT OUT!!!!

Well surprisingly enough Alpharex support has been great with me the last few days ... I am probably going to end up getting the 09-18 Ram Truck PRO-Series (5th Gen 2500 Style) Projector Headlights Alpha-Black ....
I am just trying to decide which LEDs to use .... I was going to get the LUXX series which have the built in leds but if they burn out they can not be replaced ... I rather have something I can replace the LEDs in and look exactly the same ...

Well you guys I got my ARs but the trouble I went through with them was just a damn joke ...
First they screwed up my order, process took days and the sent out my lights somewhere else ... On the phone with them after I payed was just horrible, disrespectful and not willing to help out at all ...
Today I installed my new lights and the halogens are real crap with these particular model, (09-18 Ram Truck PRO-Series (5th Gen 2500 Style) Projector Headlights Alpha-Black) ...
I was going to switch out the halogens with some LEDs but you guys seriously so far I am not impressed. Trying to adjust the lights correctly is a joke .. regardless of the size of phillips screw driver the damn things will not adjust correctly ... I am getting the park light out message and I also got another one which I think was a lamp out but missed that one as it was quick ...
So far I don't recommend these to anyone .... tomorrow might be a different story if I can get the errors to go away and I can properly aim them ....
But again, customer service sucks with these people !!!

Strange, my experience with them has been quite the opposite. I spoke to a rep on Instagram who gave me a $80 discount code when I mentioned I found someone on eBay selling them for less than on their website (hard to find a company that will price match an eBay listing!),I ordered direct through their website, order came fast. Headlights were in good shape on arrival, good fit, got them aimed in a matter of minutes easily. Only issue I had was the out parking light error message but I got in touch with a guy in the tech department and he gave me his number so that we could text back and forth while trying to track down the cause of the error message. After I told him my findings he sent out some load resistors on their dime (even just sent me tracking info for them just today lol). So I’m actually pretty pleased with them.
I will say that you are correct in that the halogens their lights ship with are pretty crappy. Not unusable but definitely don’t do any favors for the headlights themselves and give people the wrong first impression on their purchase.
I ordered aukee h7 6000k leds highs and lows and my lighting is FAR better than it was from the factory. Definitely recommend looking into leds and also recommend getting in touch with the tech department about any issues you are having.

Yes LEDs should be here tomorrow ..... the dude I was talking with on Instagram was super cool when I first mentioned to him that I was going to be getting lights from them ... he didn't offer any discount code and that is fine I still got the holiday sale ... but when I tell you that everyone's attitude changed for the worse after I payed for my lights .. it's no lie dude ... I am pretty bummed out because I will not be mentioning them on Instagram at all or adding them to the list of mods I have on my truck and it really sucks ...

To the ones having problems with bulb out messages, do you have factory projectors or the reflectors? I have messaging Alpharex on Facebook and they assure me they have all the issues worked out on the trucks with factory projectors.

Well hopefully the resistors work for you. I do think they will build the fix into the lights or wiring once they get it figured out, that’s what they did with the projector light it seems from other conversions with them.
They have been very responsive on messenger answering all of my questions. I hope I get them and they are trouble free...fingers crossed. I should have them Tuesday.

I got my lights installed on Monday and they have worked perfectly so far. My truck came with factory projectors so I bought the harness which made everything real easy to install and I didn’t have to run the wire for the DRL. I installed an H7 HID kit made the change in Alfa OBD and everything is working 100%. It was tough getting the headlight back in there with all those wires though.

I’ve been in talks with a tech who said he was going to get me some load resistors. He sent me tracking info, however the tracking shows as “preparing for shipment” for the last 9 days so far. And no one is responding to my messages now. So time will tell how things go but currently not to impressed.

Which way are the led's aligned in the projectors? Are the led chips facing left/right or up/down?

They were facing 9 to 3 then I changed them to 12 to 6.
I think the alpharex must use better projectors
