Damn, I believe my alternator is going as my truck will stall once in awhile, while coming to a stop. Sometimes she won’t start either. Need a boost in order to start. All The dash lights will flash off and come back on while the truck remains running often too, especially if I’m
Spinning my tires. Does that sound like an alternator? I just replaced battery and starter, so those are brand new.

Also, I found some fluid leaks around the back of engine on driver’s side and to the sides above the coil packs. I believe this may be the intake gasket leaking. I followed a thread on here talking about bolts being loose. Mind where completely loose. I tighten them down per spec, cleaned the areas I could reach and will see. I have been keeping an eye on my
Coolant and oil, both are fine.

Does this sound like an alternator/gasket issue?

thanks.

What's your battery gage doing on the dash? It could be valve cover gaskets.

What would I be looking for? I have no idea what I’d be looking in there.
Basic things like burn marks on the circuit board, check the fuses and relays. Before taking the board out of its holding box disconnect the battery ,also look it up on you tube I watched a video on it. don't know what a part like that runs but it don't look cheap maybe junk yard could help.,or EBay

Well I checked the fuse box and nothing out of ordinary, no burn marks and all fuses where in tight. Disconnected the battery and nothing. The truck started and didn’t give me issues last night when driving around. Didn’t stall either. Coolant and oil levels are good still. I did re-check intake mani bolts again. Looks as though where I cleaned up the fluid, it hasn’t come back. So hoping it’s okay for now anyways. I haven’t gotten out today to she if the truck will start up with out a boost this time. I’ll get out there later on and update if it starts right away or requires a boost.
I have an alternator priced at 300 CAN. My mechanic charges me $78/hr. He’s putting on all new shocks front and back, flashing my trans, changing cv shaft seal, and will get him to change the alternator and intake gaskets at the same time. Might even get the plugs/boots changed well he around that area.

Yeah truck started right up last night and didn’t give any issues with stalling or dash lights flashing. Checked again this morning and she fired right up. Still no leaks around where it was, levels are good. Hmm don’t know what was going on. Still going to get it things checked out anyways while it’s at the shop.

Could of been hard to start because of the intake bolts being loose, Vacuum leak, and antifreeze runs through the intake, don't keep tighting the bolts it squishes the gasket, you should remove the bolts clean them and put Loctite on them do you have a AutoZone up there they can load test your battery and check your charging system for free. or Canadian tire.

Crappy tire, I’m cautious of taking any vehicle there, including lawn mower lol. I’ll get my fluids there though and a few other things. Maybe I’ll share this for our fellow Canucks.
Took my truck 6” Fabtech lift (factory specs for alignment which was told to the so called specialist) there for an alignment, 3 1/2 hours day one, 3hours day two, truck was worse when taking there (steering wheel at 2 o’clock to drive straight). Took to my “normal” shop and they corrected the issue in an hour!
Don’t pay less as you get less! Lesson learned!
But yes my mechanic is going to be ripping off the intake and installing new gaskets and cleaning everything up! Vacuum leak sounds like what’s going on, most likely very small as I’m not losing oil/coolant when I check. Stalled last night once though.
