Ive been searching for awhile and can't find the exact answer im looking for...so here I go...

Truck: Stock 1500 4x4 Crew Cab Longhorn

Looking to do a level with the Bilstein 5100's at max height. Plan on keeping stock 20" rims and have pretty much settled on the 295-65-20 Nitto Trail Grapplers. I believe in my state (VA) to pass inspection, my tires can't rub. I have seen threads that people have used no spacers...1/4" spacers....1" spacers....

What spacers (or other device) do I really need to keep these bad boys from rubbing?
With spacers, can I go with a larger/wider tire? If so, what size(s)?

Thanks in advance from a newbie!

You should not need much I would think a level of about 2" should be enough but I am not sure. With mine 285/65/20 they only rub on the little bump inside the wheel well.

Bilsteins and 1/4" wheel spacers ordered from Bully's. After reading, Im thinking of Mickey Thompson ATZs. Im thinking the 35X12.50R20LT will fit, but wanted to make sure??? Anyone running these tires with just the Bilsteins w/out issues? Thanks!
