Anyone regretting going to 35s? I have 3.73 which sucks but I'm thinking about jumping to 35s but I'm worried about losing to much power. Somtimes I think the truck is a slouch with factory tires. I think a chip would help with that, I think the computer is set up way to conservative for a HD truck.

I have none. If you have want to wake the truck up however, superchips makes a great programmer and you can do the shift schedule. My Hemi Megacab was like it had 200 more horsepower. Going up hills before I thought the truck was going to explode.. After I did the schedule, it was like butter! Loved it..

I didn't see any change of course with my diesel going to 35" tires.

what size tires do you have now? If you have aftermarket wheels, you can feel a difference for sure if you get a heavy wheel. The factory 17" wheel is very light and I didn't noticed it much on my Hemi.

Don't think Superchips makes anything for the 6.4 HD Ram. You options are Diablosport or HPTuner. But a custom tune would definitely help wake the truck up.

Everything performance wise on a gasser is a waste of time. Tuner, headers, intake, etc., with a stock cam. Just do the cam and get it over with.

As far as 35 regrets, I regret that I didn't go straight to 37s.

Based upon personal experience I would disagree with a tune and headers being a waste of time. Headers were a huge improvement over stock and the tune made a very noticeable difference, especially with the trans tuning.

No one makes a cam profile marketed specifically for the Ram HD 6.4. You could obviously have one custom ground, but you'd be a bit on the bleeding edge. When I inquired with Matt (Moe's Performance), he said the market was just not there. But based upon other conversations with him, I'd suggest swapping gears to 4.56's if you really want to wake the truck up.

I don't have an HD but 35's are noticeably heavier for sure. Does feel slouchy. And my mileage dropped significantly. I might go back to stock for a while. They look killer tho lol

Ok ,when someone says 35's I assume mud terrains always. Lol . Maybe if you don't get a mud tire you can save some weight. a good all terrain I assume weighs less than a trail grappler or Toyo mt

Right. To soft. Nobody runs those new KO2's on 2500 or even 3500 duallys.

Never heard of this before I think they would wear better than many other tires even on an HD. They are LT tires what softness are speaking of?

Well...

Maybe he was being sarcastic but I've been running the KO2's on mine for about 13k now and they are wearing fast. Granted, some of this is certainly my fault for pushing them a bit. But still I was surprised to see the tires were as quickly as they did. Almost as bad as the Bridgestone AT Revo 2's wear.

Ya I was thinking something like a ko2 would be lighter but if they're no gos on hds then mud terrain it is haha. But ya. I have no mods on my 5.7 and off the line is night and day after putting them on
