Anyone add a center speaker?

First off, hello all, this is my first post on this forum. Now that that's outta the way, have any of you with an express with the base 6 speaker system added a center speaker? If so, is it worth doing?

No sense in adding a second speaker. I actually removed mine from my Alpine system. Center speakers are used in home theatre surround systems... there's no use for them in a stereo sound system. They eliminate the stereo effect of the system.

To add to the conversation, if a system is properly tuned you would swear that you do have a center speaker as the vocals will be centered in the dash.

i took mine out of my last truck. didnt miss it at all. i would say its a waste to put one in.

Thanks for the info, looks like I'll skip adding the speaker. Just never had a vehicle with a center speaker so I was just wondering if it was worth the trouble.
