Anyone try Modifystreet headlights?

If you bought the OEM set the lenses would not be smoked. If the actual lense was smoked after the fact, that would definitely degrade light output.

Yeah there are factory smoked quads available. But I think your comment still applies...regardless of how the lens is smoked, would output still be affected?

Ok yeah, those are blacked out bezels with clear lenses. That's good to know that the output is better because I'm currently running the OEM quads too and delaying my purchase to reward myself later this year...

I have a set of the Modifystreet '19 look lights still in the box. Going to open them up and see if the bezels line up correctly or if they are messed up like the previous poster showed.

If they are good to go Ill be opening them up to mod them.....someday.

like i said, im not certain about the difference in "wattage" or whatever denotes light output, but to my amateur eyes, modifystreet is brighter. dont want to mislead anyone

So I heard back from seller on Amazon:

"Please be aware that the driver side light is usually lower so that it won't blind oncoming traffic."

They will replace for free as long as I send in my unit within 20 days. Debating whether to mess with it this weekend and attempt a fix or pull it and send it in...

While I wait for the replacement headlight to come back (which by the way, Modifystreet on Amazon has been 100% upfront and communicated back and forth superquick), I had a question about the grey wire that goes to the fuse; the same one that runs the DRLs. It worked flawlessly for two days, then went out. When I was troubleshooting, I discovered the way I got the DRLs to come back on was to firmly seat the fuse, i.e. the fuse with the wire going to it was loose enough to turn off the light.

Is there a more permanent way to attach a loose wire like that to a fuse in a fuse box?

Use a real fuse tap- https://www.amazon.com/Lumision-CIR...d=1560251708&s=gateway&sprefix=micro+2&sr=8-6
Make sure it is a micro 2, and not a mini.

Got lights installed this past weekend... Graphite on the shrouds looks much better than chrome and gloss black makes the shrouds stand out...happy!!
