Are these sounds normal?

I recently noticed some sounds my truck has been making, and I'm not sure if they're normal.

- At slow speeds (like pulling into parking lots, etc.) there is a constant whoosh sound coming from under the hood. This happens when there is barely any throttle input, only enough to keep the truck moving forward. Once the throttle gets to a certain point the engine/exhaust drowns the noise out.

- Today my truck made a very frequent but not continuous noise that sounded like a mix between a chirp and a loud dripping noise that also sounded like it was coming from under the hood. The truck had been sitting all night in the low 20s, the coldest it's been here yet. It made this noise for 10-15 minutes after starting to drive, but it eventually went away. The sound really only happened while driving, not so much while idling.

Any ideas on what these noises are/are they normal? I can be quite the hypochondriac about my truck, so I tend to get paranoid about stuff like this that seems out of the ordinary.

The woosh might be the clutch fan spinning up. The chirp could be the belt tensioner pulley bearing.

Yeah, my truck did this too, yesterday morning when it was cold and I turned on the heat. Mine also faded as the truck warmed up. My wife's Jeep (2012 Grand) does it also. My truck is a 2017 1500/Hemi. If you're in AR, it was probably much colder here.

Hi JS1500,
Let us know if you decide to have your dealer look into this. Just send us a private message and we will be happy to be of extra assistance while your truck is at the dealer.
