I've been wanting to relocate my batteries under the truck or in the bed but there is very little info out there on the process/ mounts. I saw one mount online so i made it and it doesn't fit, not sure if its because the truck it was on is a long bed or maybe they had a smaller tank. if anyone has any ideas, pictures whatever to help out would be appreciated

I'm pretty sure @Wild one relocated his battery to the bed of his truck, granted his truck was set up for hustling down a track really fast an it's a Gen4 but how to should be fairly similar

Is this for dragstrip racing, where you'll need a master disconnect switch at the rear that's easily accessable to shut the truck down in the event of a crash? If not,it's easy just extend your battery cables,i use 00 welding cable, and put the batteries where you want.I'm not sure how to incorporate a master disconnect switch on a 3rd gen Cummins, but on a 4th Gen gasser you need the master disconnect switch to not only shut off battery power, but it also has to kill power to the fuse box. With-out killing alternator power to the fuse box,a gasser will stay running,i don't know if a Cummins is the same way,as it doesn't employ spark plugs,so it might stay running unless the fuel is cut off.
Back box is relocated battery, front box is the stand alone fuel cell dedicated to the nitrous side of things.
My battery is in a NHRA legal Taylor battery box

Most tracks will require a master disconnect switch if you've relocated the battery/batteries on a vehicle, and i'm not sure how to wire one on a Diesal,so it shuts the truck down when you throw the switch.
To find that info, you might have to hit up some of the hi-po diesal pages on facebook,or the diesal forums

If it's for weight distribution consider a lithium battery and keep where it is. They are expensive, but tend to last much longer and be more reliable. The weight savings is great. You can find a powerful H7-94R that weighs around 20-25 pounds. Antigravity and Braille are two well known brands. I have a Braille in my old Dodge Police car and four years problem free. Much lower self discharge rate, and it weighs under 20lbs but has over 1100 CCA and 80ah.
