The Belltech drop kits do come with shorter shocks. The McGaughys drop kits just come with shock extenders that allow you to use your stock shocks.

Thanks Matt.
Do you carry the shock extenders,or shocks seperate.
Also do you carry an adjustable track/panhard bar.

We do sell the shocks by themselves, but McGaughy's doesn't offer the shocks extenders by themselves.

And I believe Spohn is the only company making an adjustable track bar.

I've got the same issue with rear end wag with my belltech drop kit with sp shocks... I also have spohn's adjustable panhard bar and everything in alignment and still have this issue as well, I'm stumped... LMK if your new springs fix the problem, I've yet to find any issues with my springs, shocks, adjustable panhard bar, bushings or any loose bolts, etc... For what its worth, my kit did not come with the relocation bracket from belltech and I aligned the rear end with the adjustable panhard bar using the stock bracket.

Even though you have the adjustable trac bar, you still need that drop bracket. I would give BT a call and let them know that you did not receive that bracket. I'm assuming you bought this a while ago before they started including them in the kits.

Never received a relocation bracket, bought and installed my kit Sept. '12. After reading this thread I looked and noticed that my adj. panhard bar is at a pretty steep angle. I appreciate the info, I will definitly be contacting Belltech.

From what I read belltech is now including the relocation bracket so hopefully u wont have any issues, I would say Spohns Adjustable Panhard bar is a must for rear end alignment.

I posted this problem on another forum and did not receive any good information. I only have the 2" drop and I could feel the same problem. I rsearched it and first you have to recenter the rearend with an adjustable panhard bar then the right side of the bar MUST be higher at ride height, I found this on a panhard proper angle website. I redrilled the right side holes which raised the bar about an 1 1/4" and it removed just about all the twitch. According to the research the right has to be higher than the left to offset the torque of the rear.

I don't remember the website. I just googled the question and several sites came up. I have a 2012 express 4x4 and at stock height the right (end mounted to the frame) was higher than the left ( end mounted to the axle.) When I raised the end mounted to the frame the twitch was almost gone. I could only raise it a little over an inch but I think if I could raise it about another 1/2 inch it would all be gone. The way it is now I can hardly feel it.

I just did mcgaughys 4" in the rear and I havnt noticed anything odd at all.
the problem sounds like its on trucks that don't have the relocating bracket.

Think of it as bump steer on the rear.
If that panhard bar is at an extreme angle at normal ride height, when you hit a bump or anything else that makes the rear squat or lift, It will swing thru a crazy arc instead of just varying a little up or down..

the adjustable bar will do nothing to help, all that does is re centers the rear (which is a band aid for not relocating it correctly in the first place.

I ran outside and stuck the camera under the truck just to get a pic. I was a little curious myself to see what angle the mcgaughys relocator bracket put the panhard bar at.

DSC02011_zpsc4d02d4b.jpg

it looks pretty much level, (maybe just a little lower on the axles mount which as the suspension squats, would cause just a little sideways movement one way before it goes level then reverses the direction of the arc, all in all, not really moving too much).

so far this setup works and feels just like stock.
