That's why I had to disable my Google Asst. It was actively listening and offering comments about things when it wasn't called upon to do so. To activate it you're supposed to have to say, "Hey, Google," but if I had it sitting on the table while talking to my wife and happened to say to her, "I think it's over 100 today in Buckeye," it would respond, "The temperature in Buckeye, AZ is currently 104 degrees."

Oh, hell no! No way am I leaving it activated to sit there gathering info for its master back in Alphabet HQ.

I rarely talk in the truck, I usually use hand signals to my fellow drivers on the road. In a mostly encouraging way of course.

I did a lot of shooting, not much hunting , little black things flying around are good targets for 12ga trap and sheet guns, clays are so old school.
we still have a phone that's tied to the wall.

We stayed with relatives in Saskatchewan, but most of our hunting was east over by Fishing Lake. Mostly goose hunting, but a little duck, grouse, and Hun hunting as well.

I thought about that. Unlike on an iPhone, there are no settings on my phone to disable it. I actually had to sign into my Google account and do it from there.
