I am getting a new system and want to do the big three upgrade. I can't find any searches on the subject. Does anyone have pictures of what they did? Also do you leave the existing power and ground leads on there. Or do you replace them completely.

Some good stuff on youtube but the basics of it are:
Leave the factory wiring in place; add a larger gauge cable to the battery-frame, battery-alternator, and engine block-frame. Cable gauge required will depend on your system, I personally always use 1/0 gauge but it's overkill for many systems, I just have a lot of it available to me for cheap.
