Borla PRO XS Muffler

Does anyone have any experience with this Muffler? I just ordered one and would like some input. How is the sound and is it a good choice?

I had it on my old s-10. No where near a hemi but it did sound good. It's a good muffler but it's really hard to make a hemi sound bad..lol

I might have an AR-X carven exhaust custom made only for the rams if I jump to an exhaust cutout I will for sure sell this with pipes ready to weld in your truck and it sounds pretty dam well

I heard good things and bad about the. Borla but never installed one on any of my trucks

Already have the custom Y-Pipe bought. The Borla XR-1 Sportsman is my first choice!

I have one on my 2012 Ram R/T and love it, very aggressive with no drone inside the cabin, sounds even better with the 5''inch tips.

I have the Borla cat back system on my truck which included the 5" tips. I've gotten nothing but compliments on the sound. I love it. Just enough while cruising along and plenty of bark for me when I get into it. But sound is very to each there own. I was a die hard magniflow man until this and although the Borla is way more expensive I doubt I'll go back. I'm one of those guys that can cruise for hours and listen to nothing but the sound of the motor. Music to my ears. Even cancelled my Sirius subscription didn't listen to it enough. Nuts or what.

Does the cat-back come with the XS muffler?

I was not completely sure as I bought the system used but I beleive after checking it's not the pro series. It's hard to find out for sure without a part number of the actual muffler or measurements. But it sounds like the ones in the ram cat back systems are the xr1 's. Somebody else may correct me. The straight through pro serious would likely give more growl but it would depend on length etc. The one with the system is around 20" long and I can't recall how wide (oval) shaped.

Was just wondering, was google the cat back and didnt see if coming with the XS muffler..

I've always liked Borla. My dads F-body was nasty with a Borla Cat-Back
I'm happy with my exhaust now but if I ever changed I would probably go Borla.
