We drove from my friends house on Lake Sebago to Conway NH one day in August several years ago. Can't wait to do it again on the Goldwing.
Been all through New England on our Wing. Not a bad road anywhere if you stay off of the Interstates.

Unfortunately I had to do mine too. These rotors are crap, pure Chineseium metal!!

I bought out my lease, so I had to do a safety to transfer the ownership. The garage would not pass the rotors and I had to change them. They did vibrate, and they were pitted. The pads were only worn down 0.080" compared to the new ones I put on.

Rotors are relatively cheap and not worth machining like they were years ago.
I had 62000kms ( about 40000 miles)611db4110925a84524fb93e83f72fab7.jpg15058bc91df05a67625b741fd5de5136.jpg

That's what happens to cheap rotors up here in Ontario.Pads will be like new but the rotors are toast.Pads aren't actually the best material either. They last a long time but no serious grabbing power.I replaced mine on my 2015 SLT at 12 k miles (approx 2 years in).Replaced with drilled, slotted, coated rotors and ceramic pads.Brakes worked 10 x better than OEM.

Halfway shots... lol. Totors were bad but more cosmetic. Not as far north as some of you guys but NY goes heavy on the salt. I try to rinse as often as I can in winters but even at 26K miles they needed to be beaten off with a hammer.... hmmm... doesnt sound right. Lol. Had the installer coat a bit of anti seize... for future ease of removal20201031_141827.jpg 20201031_150915.jpg 20201031_141827.jpg 20201031_150933.jpg

Of course now looking at the pics.... I want to paint the calipers black. Lol. If those really nice caliper covers weren't 3 Bill's I'd buy a set and be done. I'm a value guy.... they seem to fall just a bit short for something that is pure aesthetics. Or maybe get out my dremel and polish them on the truck?

I went with Blue from the G2 Caliper Paint kit when did my brakes just recently. Definitely adds a nice touch.

Niiiiccccce! def makes me want to do this.BTW... the Wagners are fantastic. Better initial grab and true linear stopping power.

My exact set up. :0 You will like the OEX Pads, No dust on the wheels, or so little I never noticed ! They are also quiet ! The E Coated Wagner rotors ar new to me but I had a set put on my son's F 150 a few years ago and they still look good ! But so far my son and I are happy with the Wagner set up

I agree... the combination of the new tires and the brakes.... Heaven. Highway ride... exquisite. The other day I :) revved it going up a steep ramp... in heavy rain... a fraction of a second of slip.... BARELY perceptible and the she scooted rght up... it was that old type of concrete too. The slippery when wet kind. I was stoked. Hoping to get in a truck wash this weekend to test the dustless theory, lol.. I already feel like it was money well spent.

Can you get anyone to resurface drilled/slotted rotor? Around here I fella told me you could barely find anybody that would resurface them

I don't know the answer to that. I would imagine the slots and the drill holes could offer up areas for "accidents" on the part of the machinist

Rotors are not worth resurfacing any more, unless you can find a machinist to work for $10/hr.. Drilled rotors would be hell to resurface as the cutting tool would chatter each time it hits a hole.
