So I haven't been around here too much lately, just a lot going on. Anyways, I'm out of town for a class for work and on the way down here last weekend I get rear ended crossing the Mississippi. Beautiful... To top it off, they weren't insured.

So I guess it's time to do the bumper upgrade I've been watching for a few years when I get back. Probably gonna go with the Road Rhino WIY rear bumper.

What a **** bag. I'd be suing them if it happened to me, if for nothing else to inconvenience them

How fast were they gong? Looks like there is a dent in the tailgate also. Definitely get some estimates and get them going on paying the bill.

See this way to often is really sad that people won't insure there vehicles.. Sense I was 18 I have had 3x extra coverage just to make sure I cover anything I might hit unless you have tickets and wrecks like crazy it's not that expensive to carry atleast liability.

With that being said I would start a claim hopefully you have uninsured motorist get estimates and see if you can find a good shop that will work with you and maybe they can order the new bumper and you can just pay the extra cost for the upgrade over the oem.

And send the send the bill for your deductible to them and if they don't pay it take them to court they need to pay.

Thanks fellas. I just got back home from the trip yesterday evening, so Monday I'll head to my shop and have them do up the estimate. Of course I'm covered on my insurance, but it still blows. On the bright side, this is the second accident in a truck I've had where I planned to be on the bike. That would have sucked! First one was 11 yrs ago.

Haha, I agree. New bumper should be here this week. I'll post pics after the repair is complete.
