Can't use keyboard to enter address in nav while driving

I am wondering if anyone knows how to get around the built in safety feature of the keyboard being disabled while the vehicle is in motion. I have the 8.4 Ra that the dealer activated the nav on before I took delivery. On portable navigation systems I've owned in the past I could "Acknowledge the risk"and disable the safety lockout while in motion. I have not been able to figure it out on my Ram.

It doesn't make sense that I can use the touch screen and dial a phone number while driving, scroll all menus, adjust HVAcC settings, manually tune in radio stations using a keypad but I can't type in an address.

I would appreciate any help with this.
