Ceramic coated exhaust tips

Wanted to wait a week until I took a picture and posted to make sure they held up and I'm pretty impressed so far.

Looks good, did the same to my factory tips, until I got the maganflow catback then had them powdercoated.

They didn't have any flameproof primer at autozone so I had to get the other can that was rated lower but I figured it's just an exhaust tip. The guy said it would be alright.

Get some better pics, but it looks great. BTW it's not real ceramic coating... that paint just has ceramic in it which helps it hold up to higher temps. real ceramic has to be shot peened, sprayed and baked multiple times and it's expensive. Cost me $300 to get my custom headers real ceramic coating... which mainly cuts temps down by 30%.

I'm about to shoot mine with 500* gloss black.

Very true. I honestly just wanted a good way to have them black and could resist the heat.

Yeah VHT works too. All the same stuff.

Advance auto parts a good selection of Dupi-color high temp paint.

Doesn't look bad at all. But that just solidified a semi or gloss finish on mine. Don't worry about the inside.. it will get black from carbon after a few miles.
