I scored some slanted carven tips. It was a nice day today and I decided to change them but since my truck is 2014 the orig tips and bolts are siezed (see pic). I sprayed with wd40 but it still broke. Any recommendations as how I should go at it? Cut the clamp with a grinder is my first thought.

Man I’d go get them welded on by a shop. Those look pretty seized up.

Get some penetrating oil. Spray it on and let it set and come back and spray more. Hit it with a torch and take it off with a impact wrench. Just another idea or just cut it with a grinder.

It’s just a t-bolt so carefully cut or torch, reuse the clamp with new hardware.

If you don’t plan on replacing the dual axle back, welding is optimal.

+1 on the grinder... then just got new clips.
Carven actually shipped me the clamps/bolts for 10 bucks.
