Check engine light?

Soo I did a remote start ...walked to the vehicle and it randomly turned off ...was weird, so I hopped in and started it and noticed my check engine light was on. ....any ideas?

Did you pull a code?

remote start turns off after 15min if you don't turn on ignition. but go to a auto parts and have them tell you what the code is, if they don't know just get the code # and google it, mine did that and it was the grill shutter motor came un clipped together

Mine has turned off randomly before. Had gas, no codes. Just said aborted on dash and didn't specify a reason.

Another time my oil temp sensor got one of the two little 20 awg wires pulled out on my header install so my check engine light was one when I picked it up. Was able to use the Diablo Sport to read the code which told me the oil temp sensor. Matt from Moes told me where it was and I fixed it! Nice to be able to read codes anytime

Remote start will automatically cancel if the CEL is illuminated. I would recommend obtaining the DTCs for further action. Let me know if there's anything I can do to assist!
