clear coat factory black wheels?

anyone ever clear coated their factory matte black wheels? not to hip on the matte black finish wondering if i clear coat them to make them shinier. dont really feel like paying to get them powder coated just yet

Do you have the Sport wheels or the express ones?
I have the factory black sport wheels and I use Meguiars ScratchX 2.0 with their mini DA drill polisher. Really brings the shine back.
