I own a 2021 Ram 1500 Big Horn.
My truck clock will not change between different time zones.
I do not have Navigation.
I do have a 8.4 inch screen with Auto Play and yes the clock adjusts when my phone is plugged in but the Truck clock does not automatically adjust to time zone.
And Yes I checked the "Sync With GPS" box in the clock settings.
Thx much

I could be wrong, but I'm not sure the trucks clock SHOULD change automatically when you cross a time zone...If you do not have NAV, how would the truck know which time zone it's in? Isn't the "Sync with GPS" selection moot if you don't have navigation? No NAV means it is not in contact with satellites.

Would love if I'm wrong here.

I do not have the navigation and when day light saving time occurs I have to manually change it.

It should have updated it automatically. I’m having issues with rams touch screen. The clock change doesn’t show up anymore and I’m an hour behind. New issues, my wife’s ew Cherokee L is having issues connecting to the internet to even play Sirius XM. It works when it wants to this week.

My 2021 Limited changes the clock when I drive into different time zones. Since it has nav I'm assuming that's is why it does this. If you don't have nav it has no way of knowing you have changed time zones. My truck also changed the time correctly with the recent change from daylight savings to standard time. This is how I would expect it to behave.

I have a 2021 3500 Bighorn II with the 8” screen and without NAV and when I cross time zones it corrects itself as well as with the daylight savings time change.

The navigation part of the radio just adds the ability to see your location on a map. The radio still uses GPS coordinates for emergency services and being able to find your vehicle via the app.
Much like a mobile phone. You could delete all the mapping apps but 911 has the ability to read your location.

Try to contacting uconnect. I would said contact dealer since it's new truck but they likely won't do anything.
Had same problem with my Jeep. It was 4hours behind when I got it from Dealer, just didn't notice.

Dealer was useless, searched around, I wouldn't common issue. But there are others with uconnect with that problem.
uconnect sent me 'update' which fixed the problem. It was actually same version. Bug in software and just reflashed it.

As Crash mentioned above. You don't need 'nav', it's based on GPS via SAT/Cell(whatever non-nav have)
