So I have a 14 ram 1500 with the 8 speed. Today while driving it started freaking out blinking the tire pressure light and a quick message that would say service transmission. Continue to d. Or something like that and it flash super quick sometimes stay for a second then go away with an anoying ding constantly. Drives just fine though. Any ideas on this before the stealership?

There are a couple of body wiring connector plugs under the truck you might want to check to see if they're firmly connected. Check the transmission plug too.

I figured has to be bad connection somewhere the transmission shifts normal. Just weird it makes the tire pressure light freak out too even though in the display it reads all tires at 38psi. Will crawl under and look when it dries up some from all the snow. I already have a appointment at the dealership next week as I know a lifter/cam is bad and I have lifetime warranty. Just really annoying driving it around with constant ding ding ding lol. Might not get the truck back for weeks with the lifter problem. :(

Could be a bad battery. That's been know to cause real strange electrical issues.

Is the truck tuned using Diablo or HP software??

I replaced the battery, it was time, and the issue went away.

But came back five days later. To reset it so I can drive it I remove the positive battery terminal for a few minutes and drive it until the message comes up again.

I had a recent issue with several warnings and errors indicating catastrophic failure to the drive train and engine; and the truck would not start! Luckily the fix was easy. I needed a new battery. The good news is; everything is working just fine and all my settings and presets were recovered without incident.
