I've had this message come and go and after a few times of it throwing my truck into limp mode and won't shift I took it to the dealership and they keep saying they fix it and I take my truck for a drive and it comes back up. It's been at the dealer for over 2 months.
"Service transmission continue in D do not shift or turn off vehicle."
"Service shifter"
Abs light comes on, check engine light, and tire pressure light.
They replaced the star connector, not sure exactly where or what it does, and one of the main connectors under the dash on the driver side.
My truck is a 2017 Ram 1500 SLT with a 5.7 hemi 8 speed automatic transmission. Has 60,800 miles on it.
Any Ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.
