Too my truck in for an oil change and check up, come to find out it has a cracked exhaust manifold. Any suggestion on what I should do? Should I upgrade my exhaust system or what. Anything helps

Broken exhaust manifold screws are pretty common. A cracked manifold, not so much. They tend to warp more often than crack.

Did you see the cracked manifold, or did the workers at the oil change place tell you this?

I think you should make certain that a cracked manifold is whats actually there before spending money on parts. Broke screws are way more likely

How olds is the truck?
How many miles?
Who diagnosed the cracked manifold?

Its almost certainly broken exhaust maniifold screws. Almost every 4th gen Ram with s hemi will have this problem at some point.

Ive owned 3 4th gen rams, and 1 hemi powered Durango. Ive replaced broken manifold screws in all of them. Twice in my 2010 bighorn.

My current truck is a 2013 sport. The manifold screws started breaking at 60,000 miies.

Its not that tough to do yourself.

I never needed a torch.

My 2014 had both sides bolts replaced at 50k miles. No cracks in the manifolds themselves.

About every 60,000 miles seems to be the average.

My first truck was a 2010. I had to replace them at about 50,000 miles, and again at 115,000.

I had a 2012 that made it to 70,000 before they needed replaced. I traded it at 120,000 for my current truck, a 2013.

I just replaced the studs in 2013 a few months ago. It had 62000 miles on it.

My wifes 2011 Durango Citadel made it to 85000 before they had to be replaced.

The experience of extracting broken studs from the Durango can best be described as hells nightmare! ****** is more pleasant!

Theres barely room to slip a finger between the various front end parts, and theres no wheel well access.
